The ECMWF model (historically most accurate) shows it going right up the middle of Georgia. The GFS model shows it hitting Louisiana and western Mississippi.

The ECMWF model is predicting a much stronger storm than the GFS model.

Not ALL we can do.
I had pretty much replenished and topped off supplies after Irma, so we're pretty set here.

I used to just kind of gloss over Cat 1 and Cat 2 storms. I mean, the most we'd ever see was outer TS force winds and rain. But, after having a Cat 2 eye go over us, it's definitely upped my respect and fear for even that level of a storm. You couldn't go 20' without seeing SOME kind of damage after Irma.

Wish it would wait until I had my damn generator and window AC unit though. Hopefully, we won't lose power again...though it's been cooler, so may not be too bad this time.

Latest track has it missing us by quite a bit (looks more like it's hitting LA), so likely, we won't see anything from it this time.

They keep pushing it to the west. Forecast to be in Alabama on Sunday and Monday. May miss Florida after all....

Now, since I was going to have a good look at that 80 acre property on Sunday.... crap.....

I just looked at the projected path for Nate. It is a hurricane now. Projected to still be a tropical storm when it comes really close to us tomorrow.

Guess this means that I ain’t gonna look at my 80 acres.....

Yep, too soon. Another TS out there, but it's no threat to anybody.
