ROTFL.

An interesting article. A Harvard professor finally admits that 'higher education' has gone wacko. They provide less of an 'education' while jacking up tuitions and young people are skipping college and instead doing a little trade school instead. AND, as a result, colleges may be financially in trouble going forward.

There is only one word that comes to mind: GOOD.

They have changed their focus from actual higher education to indoctrination into stupidity (social justice, global warming, etc). Parents are advising kids to find another path and are refusing to co-sign for crazy student loans. Good.

When hiring new Technical (IT) staff, I have determined the higher degree they have, the less suitable they are for the job. If they are from a "prestigious" school, they are more concerned about themselves than the job at hand. I am finding that hiring someone with a 2 year degree and technical (trade) school training make the best employees. Their education is more targeted for the job and not so much useless socialist studies. Those "High Dollar" schools seem to be "warping" the brains of their students and putting them so far in debt, they can never get out.
