Wash your hands often and keep those clean hands away from your face . Avoid enclosed areas with coughing crowds of Liberals and double up on the Vit -C .....................or not .

100% agree, we even wipe the buggie handles off at the stores this time of the year. I am not a germ freak, I know I have a good immune system. That said, most people touch there faces more than they realize. Soap, water, gel alcohol. Elderberry tea or tincture daily.

Good luck, be safe, God bless

i do get the common cold and all time to time dureing the winter...and of course the normal runny nose..and rarely get real sick..but the flu and all is always a big worry all the same.especilly seeing how i dont need to be that sick around my mom,who dont need to be geting sick at all due to her health to begin with..

Okay ... here's what I do during the Cold/Flu season.

I drink lots and lots of orange juice. I eat fresh oranges. I drink lots of coffee.

Another secret: Onions! Eat 'em to prevent colds and flu. Works for me ... maybe they will work for you.

The common onion has a long history of curing/preventing illness.

The coffee thing? Doesn't do anything ... I just like my coffee. :p

Sambucol works well for minimizing flu and other viruses.

The bit about hand washing and not touching your face is the best thing anyone can do. Once you have it just fluids and rest. Oh, and don’t be a wuss, get your flu shot. Did mine a few weeks ago. A little sore at the injection site for two days and no big deal, well worth it.

I won't get one,,,I have seen some people get very sick right after the shot,,,so no thanks

the only time I got sick was after the annual flu shot so I stopped taking them, haven't been sick since and that was some years ago.
in the winter I stay away from any large gatherings of people, flu has to passed from one host to another usually by sneezing.
It’s just a false wise tale and bad timing that you get sick from the shot. Although sneezing may be the fastest way to catch it you can also pick it up from doorknobs and any surface a sick person touched. Most people sneeze into their hands and then go around touching things. I sneeze into my elbow.

took the shot, never had any problems, only scared about gettin' noro from work,it doesn't help if you follow
every step in the rule book and someone don't..you'll soon find out if you have it ;)

Here's the difference between a conservative and a liberal. I don't want the flu shot, I won't take it. But you can do whatever you want, take it or don't take it. It's your choice.

A liberal would require everyone to do what they want. Liberals take the shot and want to require everyone to take it.

Unfortunately too many businesses require employees to take the flu shot. I am 100% against that.

This isn’t a polarized political issue, just good common sense. The flu sucks, so doing things to minimize the risk of catching it just makes sense. As far as mandating it, I think that’s ok when you work at a place where spreading it can be dangerous for the ones your around like a nursing home or children’s hospital.

TF,did I or any one else here say; we force you to take the flu shot?nope,so it's your bloody choice, but work in a hospital,ER ward for example, you take.
