First day free rangung for the 2 new chicks. One got wrapped in nylon fencing and I had to cut her out while the elders tried to kill me. The baby is safe and so am I.

I had a picture to share but it isn't allowing me. Your loss.

I nnderstand. . . But you do made me lsugh! My baby goat that get their heads stuck in the fence think I am trying to kill them getting them out.

Heard the chickens going crazy and ran outside and there were 2 red foxes. I ran in and grabbed by gun, but they were gone.
One of the babies was missing, but later showed up hiding under the coop. Everyone is accounted for.
I will have to keep them in the run now. I hate that.

I saw a report that someone in Kentucky woke up Campers near Mammoth cave and said Bigfoot had just attacked them and fired a shot into the woods . Incident is being investigated .

Last week we evicted the rooster from the hens. He was too hard on the hens, half of them look like they've been plucked. He's now fending for himself and not too happy about it. I'm kind of hoping that something gets him.

Speaking of 'Mammoths', did you see the Mark Dice video the other day where he interviewed people on the streets in CA, and he was telling them how Trump's sons go big-game hunting in Africa. He tells people how they have killed... Wooly Mammoths. Another person Triceratops. Saber Tooth Tigers. All of these people didn't even blink even though he said the name of the extinct animal repeatedly. And they were all anti-Trump. I guess we can't say much for the CA school systems...

My rooster/hen ratio has been off since the fox killed 4. Some of mine a sporting sunburned bare backs too. I tried the hen saddle, but mine was poorly made and didn't stay on the hens backs. It wouldn't break my heart if the mean roo suffered a fatal heart attack.

I just let mine out for a few hours before roosting. I fired a shot (into the dirt) to scare a fox. Just in case.

No doxxing , the story came on one of the news feeds I get . The one camper said Big Foot tore Their camp down and ran into the woods and He was going to track it down and kil it .

Some of those permanent campsites are nothing but drug labs. He was probably high on meth. My parents owned a lot at one of them and had to sell because the police were being called all the time for fights and drug sales.

About a week ago I caught a weasel in a trap under the barn floor. I didn't feel like skinning it so I put the carcass in the freezer. Today my wife was rummaging through the freezer looking for something to cook for dinner and found the weasel. She wasn't too impressed with me. She never said much about the muskrats in the freezer before, but I guess some people find the oder of a weasel offensive.

We don't have weasels here. I did have a squirrel commit suicide in the pool this week.
