Never trust a Lawyer. Obviously the people can't be trusted to make a decision, TPTB have to make sure we made the right one (for them) Just more heel dragging to get the outcome they wanted.

"A law firm is taking action to ensure the formal process for the UK leaving the EU is not started without an act of Parliament.

Mishcon de Reya, lawyers acting for a group of business people and academics, said it would be unlawful for a prime minister to trigger Article 50 without a full debate and vote in Parliament.

It comes after the UK voted to leave the EU in the 23 June referendum.

The government said Parliament had "a role" to find "the best way forward".

Following the referendum, David Cameron announced he would stand down as prime minister by October and would leave his replacement to trigger Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty.

Once the legal process is triggered there is a two-year time limit to negotiate an exit deal from the EU."

They are wrong, the government of the day can trigger Article 50 any time. BUT I 100% expect big business and its senior tory lackies to do everything they can to keep us in the EUSSR. TBH I think the only way we will leave fully is if we had a UKIP govt.

Not to say that the idea of leaving the EU has a positive effect on the economy of Britain ...

They forecast the total collapse of the pound, its higher now than it was before the referendum, they also said it would cause war in Europe.

What ever new trade agreement they come up with (UK/US) better not screw up me ordering items from the UK otherwise I'm going to be pissed! Right now would be a good time to put in a order given that the GBP is .75 to the dollar
Hmmm the £ is about $1.30 over here.
