Politics have consumed the moral fabric, it's a drug that keeps consuming. Unlike the first Civil War where both sides had a point regarding State Rights, today we don't have the distinction as in the 19th century, today it is based on hatred facilitated by the media, educational institutions with select individuals pushing the narrative. This is hard to fight against if not impossible, voting is the only legal means people have, the best thing would be is to end the internet and smart phones, if mankind is lucky, the world may experience space based natural means and we human's get back to creating and not solely consuming.

I would be the first volunteer to pull the plug, flip the switch or shut down the internet. We do use it to learn, contact, visit, watch and inform ourselves. But, the misuse of the information which is available, is much greater than the usefullness. Real human contact is irreplaceable. Our children can speed-type on a smart-phone, but cannot even write a Christmas card anymore. Writing a love letter is no longer a romantic thing, just send me a pic of something and an emotio-com smiley. I still have the letter I wrote to my mother back in 1978, telling her of the woman I later married and am still with since then. Some things are good in the advancement of technology, but the loss of contact is going down the drain fast...GP

If technology were at the same state it was in the 70s, where the only news was what you got from the Networks. Where would we be today. The only News we would be getting is the scripted narrative the corrupt mainstream media is spewing today. Without the internet and the other outside sources we have today, where would we find the truth. The mainstream media is now just another arm of the Democrat party.
