Yea between me and my brother in law, who's gonna be in my post SHTF group cause my sister would kill me if I let him die, we drink one 2pound can about every 1-2 month's I believe. Maybe a little more frequently. I'm gonna start a 12 can rotation I think, and have freeze dried instant in large quantities as I can always rotate that as well. However I've read that someone drank some folgers instant that was like 30years old and said it was delicious. anyway, I think that's my long term coffee plan. Should be able to store 1-2 years worth that way and if the SHTF scenario lasts longer than that I'll head to Columbia and grow my own. Lol

I've personally (initially on accident) drank instant coffee that was 7 years old, and it didn't taste any different. Was a cold winter day, and we don't usually ever turn the heat on (don't need it in FL). But, was a cold morning, so saw it in there and decided to drink some (don't usually do coffee). It was unopened, so I assumed the wife got it recently, when really, it was left in there by her dad who had passed away. When I asked her, she didn't know anything about getting coffee, so I checked the date and noticed.
