I have this thing about eating organs, I suppose...

As for black pudding, I'm going to steer away from anything with "congealed blood" as an ingredient.
Who the hell thinks of these things?

I love grits though. Especially with seafood...really goes well with it. Add some butter and bacon, and grits are excellent with it.

Anyone watch anthony bourdaine? He has a show on the travel channel. He travels the world, eating the most unusual and disgusting things around. The guys my hero! He will try anything, still wiggling or dead for a year!

Life is too short to eat bad food.....
I've tried some pretty bizarre things over the years. Octupuss, oysters, fish eggs, snails, fried organs, raw fish, etc. Usually when something tastes bad I just won't try it again, but I've tried oysters and snails several times, and they are still nasty! I say if you don't try new things, then you'll never know if you could've had a new favorite.
As far as the show goes, I miss posted earlier. Anthony Bourdain has a show where he travels around the world eating good food. Andrew zimmern is the one who eats "bizarre foods". It's an interesting show. One thing I really like is he never puts down the taste of anything. He is usually in poor places, and the people are generous enough to share what they have with him, so he is always gracious. He may say, wow, that's strong, or something like that, but he never says anything is disgusting.
