Hi, I was looking on the web for info regarding Alchol Stoves, & stumbled upon this site, I'm now transfixed with the process of prepping etc....the more I read the more I'm intrigued, something I've never done before.

Looking forward to some decent reading,

I'll start with my quest for Alchol Stoves...:D

howdy from a texan .... and welcome to the forum and family...there's quiet a few knowledgeable folks here that'll gladly tell ya what you need to know,or at least point ya in the right direction and/or give ya a good idea or 2..and by all means jump right on in with any replies you have on a topic.and start new topics if/when needed..
 
I stopped using alcohol stoves a while back but one of my colleagues up here in northern England just recently demonstrated to me how to cook on a bean tin filled with alcohol based hand cleaner / sterilising gell ??. I'm a dinosaur I still use Hexamine in my GHB :) Welcome BTW.
 
Personally a bigger fan of wood stoves, as the fuel source is pretty easy. At least from a prepper standpoint.

Welcome SS ! :) You will have to keep me posted with your alcohol stove. I dabble in Rocket Stoves and Mass Rocket Heaters, with my own used oil drip system. :) I am not much on being cold if I don't have to! LOL
