Good video, I like this line

"In economics we are relying on experts who don't know what they are talking about"

finally watched this video...damn good one, very seldom do you hear someone speak of these topics in a way a common man understands what is told...

I have this mental image of the "herd" on Wall Street in the near future. It's something like this...
leaping-lemmings-o.gif

I don't like to see animals do this, but if it was bankers or hedge fund managers I'd help them along with a good push after first draining the lake.

I would help them with a push, if it was only high enough ;)

there is so much truth to that..i've had a feeling that we're heading for a total economic collapse since the 2008 collapse..and that video just added to that feeling..

I couldn't agree more with what I saw in the video and what I read in the previous posts. I find the whole matter utterly fascinating in a total, completely horrific manner. For the record, this really does tie directly in a scarily similar way to the book I have been reading and starting to discuss in a different thread under Resource Materials. The book is called "Surviving Economic Armageddon" and its an ebook I found on iTunes. The posted video could have been the author reading briefly from a section of the book- the guy in the video and the author of the book are signing from the same sheet of music. Its actually quite scary when you think about what is at stake and how deceptively the situation is portrayed by media, "experts", and politicians.

I think all the signs are around us that the economy is going to take a digger again, and this time I believe it will be worse then 2008. I was ready for the 2008 crash and I am getting myself ready for whatever is coming again. If this happens in 2015 like so many are predicting it wont be good, but I am ready for it. The media wont tell us anything, and we sure will not be seeing a warning from government, we need to learn how to read the signs.

yeah.it is amazing how ignorant folks can be.with how things are.right along with how things are going..

Right now, the Russian Ruble is tumbling, Venezuela basically spent themselves broke, and China's factories are slowing down, while OPEC is wondering how much longer they can keep up production to try and make it unprofitable for the US to keep selling so much oil. There is a LOT going on right now, and all of them are just indicators of what has to eventually happen. This Ponzi scheme of the world economy is doomed to fail. The only reason it hasn't yet, is that nobody can afford to allow it to happen, so we just keep making the pyramid higher and higher....

It is only a matter of time now. However the more news that I read on Russia lately and all these new sanctions, the more I am prepping. I just hope it wont be for nothing. However we are seeing many things happening that will build up to nothing good.

same here..i'd rather the shtf situation never happens as well...but yet,it's gonna happen..and it's better to be prepared for it,for when it does happen

On the contrary, I hope to NEVER have to actually USE my preps. I like modern life just fine.

You don't wear a seat belt because you WANT to have an accident. And to tell you the truth, I don't like wearing seat belts and if it weren't for the nag buzzer I'd probably not wear one around town most of the time. Preps can be a nuisance too once you get over the novelty.

I can totally tune out that damn ding....The grocery store is like a mile and a half away. For any longer drives, sure, I'll wear it, but not for such a short drive going 30mph.

Drives my family batty though. I can tune out the bird, the yipping dogs, etc. just fine too, but t hey can't, lol. Serves them right, they are the ones who wanted all the animals in the first place! LOL.

not a pretty picture (in short)

China extending into south America and Africa for natural resources, China purchasing military equipment and technological help from Russia, Russian economy is tanking blaming the US and the West, Venezuela and Iran blaming Saudi Arabia and the US for its loss of oil revenue, OPEC is shrinking and the kingdom is allowing it pissing off the rest of the OPEC members, Venezuela economy has collapsed blaming the US and Saudi Arabia, US debt is increasing every nano second, the Eurozone is in trouble, Greeks may pull out of the euro defaulting on its loan (again) Deflation on the door steps of the UK, were is the silver lining?

Something is going to boil over and its not going to be pretty when it does, China going to need resources for its people, what happens when Europe and the US slide? this will devalue China's purchasing power. The whole geopolitical situation in these developing nations is going to blowup, everyone is already pist off at everyone else, I see nothing good!
