Howdy from Georgia!

You are within 50 miles of both my kids, but as the first line implies, I'm way down in Georgia.
Hi DrHenley,

Are they preppers? 50 miles N or S? Maintaining OPSEC, can you generalize an area location wise?

I'm trying to locate others nearby to possibly muster a group in this area. I'm Finding it's easier said then done though, one would think given the current crisis people who were/are borderline preppers would commit fully. Search continues....

Hi DrHenley,

Not so much. I think they probably have the right mindset for it but they are busy building their careers right now, and are both working full time from home.

I think they have a much much better understanding of my peculiar ways right now, LOL.

As far as location, let's just say "Urban" ;)

There are more people seeing the benefits of prepping now but I am surprised at how few have really done anything about it. Now with the fear of infection I’m sure it’s even harder to get a group together. Damn shame though as a group has so much more of a chance of making it through challenging times.

Welcome to the forum. I am hoping you have already prepped, at least some? I can understand wanting to get a group together for better odds. But I think you would have better odds if there was not a serious pandemic going on right now. . . Honestly I would be very leary if someone was trying to reach out at this time. . . as in they were not prepared at all and I would have to piggyback them.

Howdy from Texas!
I think it's good to know a few like-minded people in your area so you can help each other out, but I would be very skeptical of anyone claiming to be a prepper right now and trying to get to know me. Be careful - they might just be trying to take your stuff.
