I'm fine with not seeing any cops around here. I really don't have any use for them anyway. With that said I do get along fine with our sheriff and a couple of his deputies.
I hear things like this all the time.
I shop on Amazon a lot. No lines, no psychos whacking off in public, and I get better customer service.
I agree that I like to support the local economy too but like you said with limited selection and the ability to compare pricing on line I think I use online more now. There will always be things like bulky construction items and such that you buy local but amazon has truly changed the world.I try to buy local when I can, but for some reason local people don't seem to buy the same things I do, consequently nobody has the things I need.
Lol, sometimes these threads get more interesting when they change direction a couple times! I’ve never been to uptight about not coloring inside the lines.Yeah, apparently my post is the guilty one...seems to have changed directions after that!! Didn't intend for that to happen! Sorry about that.
I know people who think police are the "good guys" fighting against criminals who are "bad guys." I try to explain to them that cops are people just like anyone else, and according to my own personal theory, about at 3rd of people are "good" or are generally concerned with other's interests as well as their own, 1/3 are "bad" or exhibit characteristics that make them dangerous who do not deserve to be harmed, and 1/3 can go either way, depending on the influences around them. (I may be completely off on the percentages but this pretty much sums up the types of people as I have observed them.)I would rather be on my own. Law enforcement has nothing to offer me. To many asshole in law enforcement.

Bigpaul, you don't trust anyone as far as you can spit.
And that’s his endearing side....Bigpaul, you don't trust anyone as far as you can spit.
