Lol. I actually may make the effort to go see it. I really can’t think of anything I would actually want there but it would be interesting to see.

The same group put on a couple shows near here. Lots of stuff, but overpriced. Lots of body armor and military surplus type stuff.

To be fair, they would haggle if you put a little effort into it. At the very least it killed a couple hours.

I went to a large gun and survivalist show north of Atlanta not too long ago. I didn’t see anything I wanted to buy, but it was very interesting and entertaining. It was a little disturbing seeing all the high tech military grade assault rifles being sold. Sure, I thought some were pretty cool, but I’m a pretty responsible guy. I’m not so sure about some of the people I saw with them though. Kind of scary to me that so many have access to these kinds of weapons.

The shows here had lost of parts, but no functional weapons.

Lots of knives.

It was kinda interesting to people watch, including the sellers. Some of the attendees were dressed head to toe in camo. They were the ones giving everyone else a good going over. Some of the sellers were pretty nice, some had no personality.

I think I had more fun watching the people than anything. Been doing that for years. Every time somebody walked up covered in camo I’d be thinking that nobody ever explained the gray man concept to them.

I've been to quite a few gun shows over the years, but have never bought anything there. Anything that I was interested in was over priced and most sellers I found to be kind of rude. I'm also not interested in any of the military surplus stuff or the "I want to be like GI Joe" crowd.
I've found that anything that I want I can get cheaper at most large sporting goods stores. And if they don't have what I want they can order it.
The only gun shows that I like are the one that specialize in antique guns.
I also don't like dealing with the large crowds, paying to park or paying an entry fee just to get in.

Yeah, the parking and entry fee for three of us was thirty bucks just to walk in the place. Still, it was interesting. I notice people usually too, and was surprised at the eclectic mix of redneck, business type, gang banger, and even a few really hot girls. Guess it was worth the cover price after all!
As far as buying stuff, it’s hard to beat online pricing and selection. I feel guilty about not supporting the local brick and mortar stores sometimes but am loyal to my wallet first...
I guess If I wanted any more guns I’d have to shop locally, but that’s few and far between now.
